From Meme to Meaning: A Candid Conversation w/ Supersnake on Cancer, Comedy & Confidence

In this week’s episode of A Sharper Life, Nikki is joined by the man behind the wildly popular meme account @Supersnake.

What you see on Instagram is a satire of high society with content ranging from “fake shaman starter packs,” to videos like “If people were in LA were honest.” Yet, behind the scenes is a man who openly shares his experience of internet trolls, the importance of vulnerability, and how inner work can change your life.

In this deeply honest conversation, Andreas is opening up about his battle with cancer and the impact it had on him. Just as he ended chemotherapy, the world then shut during the pandemic, leading to more isolation due to a weakened immune system. As he tried to stay positive through comedy and memes, internet hate began on his account.

You’ll get a rare glimpse into the elite jet set & party scene, how he created this successful account, and his foresight into the next big party destination.

If you’ve ever dealt with fear of being judged, health scares of your own, or felt a lack of confidence, this episode will leave you feeling inspired.

This was an incredibly meaningful episode to record because it shows the reality of what goes on behind accounts.

I think we can all sometimes forget that other people are going through their own challenging moments. I very much believe that following the Golden Rule (if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all) should apply to social media.

It was also a very fun conversation because of the rapid fire Q&A we do at the end.
